Udo Lindenberg: Stärker als die Zeit - Live

After eight years Udo Lindenberg started his comeback in early 2016 with the new album "Stärker als die Zeit". After the release of his new album the panic rocker No. 1 went on a big tour, where he - among other locations - also stopped in Leipzig. The live recording “Stärker als die Zeit - Live” documents this gigantic show. The recording from Leipzig is a colorful mix of Udo classics and hits from his new album, including "Cello", "Wozu sind Kriege da", "Der Greis ist heiß", "Ich mach mein Ding" and "Durch die schweren Zeiten". At least as impressive as the tracklist is the list of guest singers who were at Udo's side during the various appearances. Participants include Clueso, Helge Schneider, Till Brönner and Stefanie Heinzmann, Gentleman, Daniel Wirtz and Ole Feddersen, Axel Prahl, Otto Waalkes, Johannes Oerding, Jan Delay, Stefan Raab, Klaus Doldinger, Adel Tawil, Max Herre, Bülent Ceylan and many more.

A documentary of insect life in meadows and ponds, using incredible close-ups, slow motion, and time-lapse photography. It includes bees collecting nectar, ladybugs eating mites, snails mating, spiders wrapping their catch, a scarab beetle relentlessly pushing its ball of dung uphill, endless lines of caterpillars, an underwater spider creating an air bubble to live in, and a mosquito hatching.

GROW VASU

Grow Vasu is a biographical documentary on the life of comrade Ayinoor Vasu aka Grow Vasu, a leader of the working class, as well as a champion of Muslim, Dalit, and marginalized communities and human rights movements. At 94 years young, he was jailed for questioning the authority, yet, Vasu continues his fight against oppression, for justice, and for the revolution. The film follows a narrative style divided into ten chapters consists of his personal-political up and downs.

Jack & Pete Tell it All is a documentary about how creativity, family, faith, and risk took a small cave in the Ozarks from a regional anomaly to one of America's largest family owned entertainment companies, known today as Herschend Enterprises. Shot on location at both Dollywood and Silver Dollar City in the fall and spring of 2016 and 2017, the film follows the stories as told by the brothers Jack and Pete Herschend; their wives, Sherry and JoDee; and the many others who were there in the early days of the company's inception. The National Library of France is the guardian of priceless treasures that tell our history, our illustrious thinkers, writers, scholars and artists. Telling the story of the exceptional treasures of the National Library of France is like opening a great history book rich in many twists and turns. Without the love of the kings of France for books and precious objects, this institution would never have seen the light of day. The story begins in the 14th century under the reign of a passionate writer, Charles V, who set up a library in his apartments in the Louvre. But it was not until the 17th century, and the reign of Louis XIV, a lover of the arts and letters, that the royal library took over its historic quarters in the rue Vivienne in Paris, which it still occupies.
